Metformin is an oral first line drug of choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Glibenclamide is an older type of drug used to treat type 2 diabetes.
The prescribing physician knows why two drugs have been prescribed. If ordered by the same physician, he or she should know if both are compatible.
Have you reported your symptoms of weakness and low libido to your physician? You may need to have your thyroid levels checked and dose of thyroxine adjusted.
