Are your menstrual cycles normally regular? When was your period for January due to start? When did you start having these symptoms? Do you normally have premenstrual symptoms such as moodiness, tender breasts and headaches?
There could be two explanations, one that indeed you did conceive but miscarried as evidence of the heavy vaginal bleeding. A lot of women lose a pregnancy very early before they even know that they are pregnant.
The other explanation is that this heavy bleeding is your period for January and that these were premenstrual symptoms.
Please consult your physician who has the knowledge and training to make a diagnosis.
