I cannot say for certain what the discharge indicates. What color was it? What was the texture, thick or thin? Have you have had this type of discharge before?
I can tell you that the withdrawal method is a very ineffective birth control method. It takes a lot of skill and control for the male to withdraw just before ejaculation.
With a history of irregular menstrual cycles, it is difficult to determine when you are ovulating.
At this point, all that I can suggest is wait and if you do not get a period by the second week of March, take a pregnancy test. You might want to consider seeing a gynecologist to discuss the option of oral contraceptives both as birth control and to help regulated your menstrual cycle.
