Guide

Hello Coco2121,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us for advice.

Until the last three months, were your periods regular and coming every month?

When you had the tubal ligation in 2011, were both fallopian tubes tied? Do you remember if the tubes were clamped off or cut and burned?

If indeed you were pregnant, you would have gotten a positive pregnancy test result. If both fallopian tubes were tied, it would be unlikely that you could become pregnant, unless the procedure failed and the tubes were still open.

I understand that without health insurance coverage, getting medical care is limited. Is there a women's health clinic at your local hospital? If so, you may be able to be seen at little or no cost.

The reason for not having a period for three months needs to be determined in person by a health care professional.

Regards,
Maryann
