There was never a risk for becoming pregnant because your boyfriend was wearing jeans. The sperm in semen cannot get past the fabric of clothing.

I do not know why your period stopped. It may be stress related.
Mention this to your gynecologist. I am assuming you have been prescribed oral contraceptives, as the birth control you plan to start this weekend.
