Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Postinor 2 does not work as well as regular methods of contraception and is not as effective as long-term contraception.

Postinor prevents pregnancy before it is established. It alters the cervical mucous making it more difficult for sperm to access the egg, prevents or delays ovulation, or prevents a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus. These three actions depend on when in the menstrual cycle it is taken.

If you had unprotected sex one hour after she took the pill, she is protected against pregnancy from both the first time the condom broke and the second time.

Regards,
Maryann
