Thank you for sharing the personal journey of your mother's brave battle against pancreatic cancer and your emotional journey. Your words give hope.
Pancreatic cancer is one of, if not the worst type of cancer. Damage is done before symptoms present.
I lost my mother to leukemia over 21 years ago. I would catch myself wanting to call her when I read or heard something that I wanted to share, and then, I would remember she was gone. I thought of her most on special days in my children's lives, like First Communion Day, graduation days and my daughter's wedding day.
I get consolation by thinking, she has the best seat in the house -looking down from Heaven.
