Plan B works to prevent pregnancy primarily by stopping the release of an egg from the ovary. It may prevent a sperm from fertilizing the egg. If fertilization does occur, Plan B may prevent a fertilized egg from attaching to the womb.
Anonymous, when you took the pill on February 13, you could not have been ovulating because you finished your period just 4 or 5 days before.
Normally, you should have withdrawal or breakthrough bleeding, which is bleeding between periods, within three weeks of taking the pill. Once three weeks have passed without any bleeding, then take a pregnancy test. Test in the morning with the first urine of the day.
In your case, it is now five weeks and no bleeding. If you test with the first urine of the day and waited to take the test until three weeks passed, then I would not recommend testing again. I suspect a hormonal imbalance occurred and suggest you consult your gynecologist or primary care physician.
