Implantation bleeding occurs about six to 12 days following conception. It is the result of the fertilized egg implanting itself in the lining of the uterus. Some women experience mild cramping. Implantation bleeding is scanty and pink or brown in color. It lasts only a few days and goes away without increasing in amount.
Now would be a good time to take an early response pregnancy test. Test using the first urine of the day.
