Bleeding during ovulation is normal. Small flow, spotting, light pink discharge lasting for only a couple days are typical signs. But in some cases it can be cause for concern if your discharge heavy or your experiencing pain or if it continues for more than one cycle.
You mentioned you are trying to get pregnant, how exciting for you! But I'm wondering, were you previously on birth control? And if so, what type of birth control? If you were previously taking birth control, your body could still be adjusting to the decrease in hormones and could be causing the symptoms you are experiencing as well.
