Pregnancy is the most common cause of missed menstrual cycle. But there are other reasons like stress, major weightloss or excessive exercise, thyroid irregularity or hormone imbalance, to name a few.
Take a pregnancy test to rule it out. If you are not pregnant, then your irregular menstrual cycle most likely was caused by hormonal imbalance.
Since your menstrual cycle has returned for April, perhaps the timing of when your cycle comes has been reset to the middle of the month,
If irregularity continues, have it checked out by your doctor.
