Are you experiencing lower abdominal soreness?
By definition, soreness describes a mild pain or ache.
Abdominal pain can be acute or chronic, described as a burning sensation or cramping, and can be intermittent , steady, sharp or intense.
There is a difference between causes of right lower abdominal pain and left lower abdominal pain.
The most common causes of abdominal pain include menstrual cramps, constipation, stomach virus, indigestion, gas, PID, Crohn's disease, ulcers, UTI and appendicitis, just to name a few.
When making a diagnosis, a physician will ask you if you are having any other symptoms and do a physical exam. Blood tests and imaging studies, such as an ultrasound may be ordered.
