Vaginal bleeding after taking an emergency contraceptive means the pill worked to prevent pregnancy. You are not pregnant.
The bleeding is not your period but break through bleeding, which means bleeding between periods. It was caused by taking the pill. That is why it is not like your normal period.
Low back pain is not a reported side effect. Nor, do I think eating spicy food causes it. If the pain persists or worsens, consult your doctor.
