If your menstrual cycle is 28 to 30 days long, you would be ovulating around day 14 or 15 of the new menstrual cycle. A woman is most likely to conceive when she has unprotected intercourse five days before and on the day of ovulation.
There is a good chance that you did conceive. If your period for October is late by at least one week, do take a pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, test in the morning and use the first urine of the day.
