I am not a gynecologist, nor a radiologist to interpret the findings of your ultrasound, even if I had the scan in front of me.
The gestational sac (GS) is the first sign of early pregnancy on ultrasound and can be seen with a transvaginal ultrasound at approximately 3-5 weeks gestation when the mean sac diameter would approximately measure 2-3 mm in diameter.
A gestational sac, which houses the developing embryo, is implanted in the uterine lining. An ovary cyst is located on an ovary. No way of confusing the two.
I have no idea if you are pregnant or how many weeks gestation if you were. These are questions for your physician.
For you and the benefit of all our readers, Duphostan contains dydrogesterone which is a synthetic derivative of progesterone. It is used to treat a variety of conditions resulting from a lack of endogenous (naturally produced) progesterone, including menstrual disorders and endometriosis, and for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and transgender hormone therapy.
