You will know whether or not you conceived during unprotected sex if you get your next period, which should start on or about October 27.
With a 27 day menstrual cycle, you should have ovulated around October 15.
I don't think you would have become pregnant on October 7 because it was too early for ovulation. There was no egg to be fertilized.
