Each test can show results differently. Look at the package or package insert to know how to interpret the results.
For example:
First Response Early Result - two lines, even if one is lighter, is positive and one line is negative.
Accu-Clear Early Pregnancy Test - one line, even a light one, in the left test window means you're pregnant; the lack of a line means you're not
