Guide

Hi beccam98,

Thank you for sharing your question.

It is advised that Emergency contraceptive be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex. I would not advise in using it after several sexual events within a 5 day period. The instructions say "It may be effective after 5 days" but it doesn't indicate a sure thing. There are very explicit instructions that you must follow in order for it to be effective in preventing pregnancy.

If you and your girlfriend want to engage in sex and prevent pregnancy, there are birth control methods available like (birth control pills, withdrawel method, IUD, condom, etc.) Emergency contraceptive pills (The Morning After Pill / Plan B) is not to be used as birth control. Meaning you should not plan to use it, ahead of time. There are side effects to any medication, and this should be of major concern to you. It is only to be used in an emergency.

I know it may not be the answer you wanted but, please take it to heart.
