Although beer is at the top of the list, alcohol in general increases your risk of triggering a gout attack. You should consider your diet as a whole specifically other beverages too. And it depends on what you consider moderation and how sensitive you are to triggering a flare up. Maybe if you determine a "minimum" that may be a safe route. You can always consult with your doctor as well.
