Has the spotting of yesterday increased to a flow, so that you need to use a tampon? Is the bleeding red in color or brown or pink?
I am wondering if this is an early period or implantation bleeding.
For now, wait and see what happens. If it doesn't increase to a normal menstrual flow, but stops by tomorrow, consider taking a home pregnancy test before contacting your gynecologist.
For the most accurate result, test in the morning. Use the first urine of the day, which is concentrated.
