Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for coming to us with your concern.

You mention having two periods in February. One lasted three days and the second lasted five days.

Has this happened before? Are your menstrual cycles ever regular? How long is your menstrual cycle- 22 day, 28 days or 30 days?

To become pregnant, you must have unprotected intercourse any time from five days before and on the day of ovulation. Generally, ovulation happens around day 14 of the menstrual cycle. The first day of your period is day one. So, in your case, March 3 was day seven.

Was the bleeding heavy or just spotting? Did you test in the morning and use the first urine of the day?

Honestly, I cannot say I trust the test results.I suggest you contact your gynecologist, who can order a blood pregnancy test, which is more accurate.

Please keep us updated,
Maryann
