Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. It is effective to prevent pregnancy when taken as directed up to 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex.
You will know Postinor has worked when you have your next period and it seems like a normal period. Sometimes, the next period can start earlier or later than expected. Flow can be lighter or heavier than normal.
Some women experience nausea and vomiting, changes int their menstrual cycle, breast tenderness , headaches, dizziness and fatigue after taking the pill.
