Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you reached out to us for advice.

I don't think there was any risk of becoming pregnant. Pre ejaculate fluid is the clear, colorless, viscous fluid that is emitted from the urethra of the penis during sexual arousal. It does not contain sperm like semen does. However, if the male has had a prior but recent ejaculation, some sperm can remain in his urethra. But, once he urinates, any stowaway sperm is flushed out.

Your period could be delayed because you are stressing out over this. During periods of stress, the body increases production of the hormone called cortisol. High levels of cortisol signal the body to shut down non essential functions, like the menstrual cycle.

Relax and your period should start. You might find this slide show, "Am I Pregnant? Myths and Facts About Sex" of help.
