Guide

Hello Daisy75,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. I am glad you reached out to us with your concern if you might be pregnant.

My first thought is no, because you had sex the day before your period was due to start. That would mean you ovulated around two weeks ago. A released egg does not live that long, so there would have been no egg to fertilize and thus conception.

Now, if your period are normally regular, the question is why is it late?
Try to relax and see if your period starts in the next day or two. If not, you could always take a home pregnancy test, just to be sure. If you do test, test in the morning and use the first urine when you wake up.

Daisy75, I think your symptoms are more likely to be premenstrual symptoms and possibly triggered by anxiety.

Regards,
Maryann
