Hello an0n,

No, it is not possible to ovulate on day 4 of your menstrual cycle because you are still having your period.

If you are concerned about the vaginal discharge, please schedule an appointment with a gynecologist. Normally, vaginal discharge should be white or clear. It may appear yellow when it has dried on your underwear. Brown discharge is simply old blood remaining at the end of your period.

Most women with a 28 to 30 day menstrual cycle ovulate between day 11 and day 21. You could always start tracking your ovulation.
