Ethinyl Estradiol and Cyproterone Acetate are the main ingredients in Ginette 35. It principal function is to suppress hyper-androgenic state in women. Excessive amounts of androgens, which are hormones including testosterone, lead to a hyper androgenic state. Polycystic ovarian syndrome, acne and Hirsutism are often treated with Ginette 35.
While prescribed for any of the labeled indications listed earlier, women on Ginette 35 are automatically protected against pregnancy.
Missed pills pose a threat in that the drug levels in your blood fall and the ability of pills to provide contraceptive protection is reduced. On missing one pill, the missed Pill must be taken within 12 hours, even if it means having to take two pills at the same time on the next day.
Anonymous, I think you might be okay. You made up for the missed dose in less than 12 hours and pre ejaculate fluid itself does not contain sperm.
Stress could be the cause of the delay in the start of your period. If your period does not start within the next three to four days. take a pregnancy test, just to be sure.
Consider speaking with your physician, who prescribed Ginette 35.
