Guide

Hello Ukarine,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. I will try my best to calm your fears and explain that you are not pregnant.

Without having unprotected vaginal intercourse, there was no risk for pregnancy.

Following contact with your boyfriend's semen, you wiped it off. Three or so hours later when you showered, any remaining semen would have dried and any sperm would have died.

Having a normal period afterwards proved that you did not become pregnant.

Some women may have spotting during a pregnancy but not a normal monthly period.During your period the blood or flow that you see is the lining of your uterus. It is being shed.

During pregnancy, the uterine lining remains intact. That is where the baby grows and develops, in the uterus or womb. If the lining is shed, the baby is in danger and pregnancy would end.

Regards,
Maryann
