Pregnancy happens when you have unprotected sex during your fertile time. This is five days before ovulation or on the day of ovulation. Ovulation happens in the middle of your menstrual cycle. A released egg, which is what happens during ovulation, fertilized by one sperm leads to pregnancy.
By taking the I-pill, you gave your body an unnecessary high dose of a man made hormone that can cause changes in your menstrual cycle. Your next period may start on time, or start earlier or later than expected. Flow might be lighter or heavier than normal.
