You mention that the last time you had sex was in July. You also say that this happened on the first day of your period. There would have been no risk of becoming pregnant because you said it was protected sex and you were menstruating. Having a regular period in August confirmed that you did not become pregnant.
Have you been under more stress? Did you start classes again or a new job in September?
Stress can cause a delayed or missed period.
You could always take a home pregnancy test. Seeing the result may give you peace of mind.
