Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community with such an interesting situation.

If you were older than 30 years old, I would have said you are showing early signs of perimenopause.

If your bleeding had not increased to a flow by day 5, I would have thought you could be pregnant.

The menstrual cycle is regulated by a precise balance of hormones. Pregnancy and perimenopause are two reasons for changes or absence in a period.

My suggestion is to schedule an appointment with your gynecologist. Some factor is upsetting this balance. Please keep us updated.

Regards,
Maryann
