If I understand, you had intercourse on Friday, October 21. You mention that you take your pills not at the same time each day. Were you taking a daily pill in the days before October 21? You say you took the pill. Was that on October 21. If so, then it was protected intercourse.
You missed Thursday's dose, and doubled up on Friday. Was that week one of a new pack?
I am wondering, if by not taking your daily pill at the same time each day, and missing a dose during the first week, caused your hormone levels to drop enough to trigger bleeding.
The daily birth control pill keeps your hormone levels constant. Taking the pill at the same time each day is important.
skolo1146, please contact your gynecologist. Report what has happened and that you continue to have a bloody vaginal discharge. Please let us know what your doctor thinks is the cause of this.
