Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community for our thoughts on this spotting.
Implantation bleeding, which does not occur with every pregnancy, is pink or brown spotting that happens when the fertilized egg implants in the lining of the uterus. This happens about six to 12 days following conception. It is pink of brown spotting that lasts about two to three days, never increases to a flow and goes away on its own.
You had bright red spotting on November 14 that went away. Today you are having pink brown spotting.
But, you had protected intercourse days after your last period for October. You then took Plan B and started the oral contraceptive, Seasonique.
I am wondering if the spotting and breast tenderness are the result of the high blast of hormones your body got as a result of taking an ECP and starting birth control at the same time.
