Not knowing the name of the oral contraceptive, and knowing that you get a period every three months, I assume that when no doses are missed, you do not ovulate.
It appears you did the right thing by doubling up on the doses at the start of the new pack.
Plan B prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. That being said, I do not think there was a chance for ovulation.
Cramping is a reported side effect of Plan B.
Since this matter is causing you anxiety, please consider speaking with your gynecologist, who is your best resource.
