Does your girlfriend have the package insert, which lists side effects, how to take the pill, etc.?
Did she read it before taking the pills?
I really don't know how long the side effects can normally last. Every woman is different and will respond to the pills differently. If the side effects persist beyond one week and become bothersome, she should speak with her gynecologist.
Nordette should affect her menstrual cycle for only one monthly cycle. Her next period could start earlier or later than expected. Flow might be lighter or heavier than normal.
