An emergency contraceptive, like i doz 72 can cause changes in the menstrual cycle. Her period could be late because of taking this pill.
If she does not get a period this month or within three weeks of taking the pill, she needs to take a home pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, she needs to test in the morning. Use the first urine of the day when she wakes up.
