Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community for help.

You have three issues which really need to be evaluated by a physician. I suggest you call your gynecologist's office to schedule an appointment.

A burning sensation with urination can be caused by infectious, including sexually transmitted infections, or STDs such as chlamydia and gonorrhea, and noninfectious conditions, but it is most commonly due to bacterial infection of the urinary tract affecting the bladder.

It is often accompanied by other symptoms of urinary tract infections, such as painful urination or blood in the urine, and it can occur after intercourse in women when infection is present.

The sudden onset of a painful period raises concern. Could you have pelvic inflammatory disease, is an infection of a woman’s reproductive organs.

Lastly, the question is why did your period start 20 days earlier than expected.

Please call your doctor's office today. Keep us updated once you have been examined.

Regards,
Maryann
