Wait for your period to start this month. If you are late by at least one week, and considering you have been having unprotected intercourse, then test for pregnancy. For the most accurate result, test in the morning. Use the urine when you wake up.
Levels of hCG, which is the hormone produced during pregnancy, can be detected in urine about 12 to 14 days following conception. So, if your period is late, and it has been at least three weeks since you had sex, you should get an accurate result.
