This was not implantation bleeding.
Implantation bledding is spotting that is pink or brown in color. It can happen about six to 12 days following conception. It never increases to a flow and lasts about 2 to 3 days.
Was there a chance you could have become pregnant since your last period?
Have you ever noticed clots dut in your period flow before?
