Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community.

Take Action contains levonorgestrel, which is the same synthetic hormone found in other emergency contraceptive.

Changes in the menstrual cycle are a reported side effect. Your next period could start earlier or later than expected. Usually, this is not by more than five days.
Flow can be lighter or heavier than normal.

If you do not have any bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill, then test for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
