Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to us.

An emergency contraceptive prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. The pill may have worked if you had not yet ovulated.

The only way to know is to wait for bleeding to happen. If you do not have any bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill, test for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
