Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

High blood sugar occurs when your body can't effectively transport sugar from blood into cells.
When left unchecked, this can lead to diabetes.

If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, your physician has recommended either insulin injections or one of the many glucose lowering agents.

Otherwise, exercise regularly, control carb intake by counting carbs or using a food exchange system, increase your fiber intake, drink plenty of water and keep hydrated, control your weight, contol stress levels, and get plenty of sleep.

Regards,
Maryann
