I am on birth control. I take them correctly. Today I had some reddish pinkish stuff on the toilet paper when I wiped with some tiny bright red specks. Could this have been implantation bleeding?

Hi Anon,
Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.
The color and quantity that you describe sound like implantation bleeding. Are you experiencing this prior to the time you normally get your menstrual cycle? Are you experiencing any mild cramping? Do you have any other symptoms like nausea, sore breast , mood changes and/or fatigue ? Are you urinating more frequently?

I am in the middle of my second week of pills. I am having some cramping and sore breasts and urinating more frequently, and lower back pain. I take my pills religiously tho. Could it just be PMS? Breakthrough bleeding?
