Hello, My Husband is 39 years old and in pretty good health. About 5 - 7 hours ago he started explaining that he was having pain in the lower abdominal area and hadn't pooped in two days(this is his norm) it seemed to just be bothering him and then we had intercourse. I was on top he was in control due to the pain. Afterwards it became severe and he stated it felt like someone was tearing his stomach in 2 pcs. And stabbing him. The abdomen became very sore to the touch and he stated that he was exhausted from the pain and this lasted for about 3 hours. He is now in somewhat of a comfortable position laying on his right side one leg bent up towards the abdomen. No fever but he did have a lot of nausea no vomiting. Everything I read and know from working the medical field says this is serious and we need to be seen now. But he's refusing. And is now resting. Please help.

Guide

Hello. Thank you for posting.

Having sex was probably not a good idea if he was already ill. He needs medical attention. We cannot know what is causing his pain. If it persists or worsens he should be evaluated by a doctor.
