After getting withdrawal bleeding from stopping taking birth control, will my period come days later or until it starts a new cycle?

I went on the pill but after some discomfort I decided to discontinue using it after 7 days. I was supposed to get my period during that week. From what I've heard, I'll be getting withdrawal bleeding bc I stopped taking the pill. Will my period come days or weeks later after that bleeding has occurred?
