Hi Exabia - Your title does seem a bit strange since it's next to the photo of that adorable little boy. Is that your son?

It's certainly understandable that you would feel a bit gloomy after six years of health problems. Thanks for sharing your situation and for reaching out for information.

In terms of the swollen lymph nodes, there could be many reasons for this. This link to
the Mayo Clinic's page on swollen lymph nodes may help, it includes information on when to seek medical advice: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/swollen-lymph-nodes/DS00880

Do you have anyone you can talk to about your health issues, or any type of support system? If not you may want to see if you can get some professional counseling through your health coverage. It's hard to deal with multiple health issues, especially for many years, and a mental health professional or other counselor could help you with some stress and pain management techniques that could improve your quality of life. Please also consider whether there are factors in your life that you can control that will help you in feeling better such as eating nutritious food, getting regular exercise, and so forth.

When there are a lot of things that are out of your control, such as health problems, it can seem like everything is out of control and be overwhelming. If you put some focus on what you can control, and on the positive forces in your life like your adorable little boy, it will help you start taking back control of more of your life. When you feel stronger it becomes easier to more assertively manage the medical side of your life as well.

Hope this helps, and good luck to you.
Pat
