am I pregnant, or is it just stress that's putting my period back?

my last period was on dec. 1, and I was projected to ovulate around dec. 14. I believe my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex about 3 days before that but as I have terrible memory I'm unsure about the exact date. my boyfriend pulls out but I'm concerned about pre-ejaculate. my period was supposed to arrive on the 28th, but it is now the 31st, and I'm beginning to freak out. I had had my normal pms symptoms starting about a week before my period was supposed to begin: cramping, moodiness, and my breasts were really sore. but all of that's normal. I still have those three symptoms, yet no period. i have been stressed out lately about school, and now thinking of how my mom will react IF in fact I am pregnant, has put me through a few nervous breakdowns. I'm stressed about being pregnant. so am I pregnant, or is it a stress-induced late period?

thank you, missie. Im sure I'm on my period, as its red now and filling super tampons. I am not on birth control, but I have been considering it especially after this incident. my boyfriend and I have decided to use condoms, therefore to prevent any of this to happen again. thank you so much for your help! I appreciate it greatly.

Hi Uhoh03,
I think you can rest assure that you are experiencing your regular period and it was just running late as you have been stressed recently. Are you on any birth control methods besides the pull-out method? If not, you should certainly think about some or maybe use condoms as they not only deter pregnancy but also you have a less risk of obtaining an sexually transmitted disease. If you have any concerns that you are pregnant, you could always obtain a pregnancy test to be certain but bleeding is always a GOOD sign.

today I begun to bleed. at first it was brownish red so I was worried it was just implantation blood, that I've been warned so much about. but its 17 days after ovulation and i believe it to be my regular period, as i have heavy periods, and the blood was straight red, and filled almost all of a super tampon. there was only a little bit of brown mixed within it. this isn't implantation right ?
