Allergic rhinitis which is also known as hay fever occurs when you breathe in something to which you are allergic. As a result the inside of your nose becomes inflamed and swollen.
Sinusitis is an inflammation of the lining inside the sinuses which can be acute or chronic.
Allergic rhinitis can cause your nose to become blocked which in turns blocks the sinuses. They are linked..
