hellos,

A couple of days ago like 2 or 3 my boyfriend and I got a little goofy.. We were having dry sex and I had my underwear on, after a while his penis went under my underwear for a couple of minutes he was rubbing my vagina there was no penetration and he didn't ejaculate on me. I asked if he felt like he was gonna cum because of pre- ejaculation but he said he was positive he was not close to ejaculation at all. Can I still be pregnant? If there was no penetration nor ejaculation?? I'm scared please answer mee ASAP!!

Hi rosa,

So there's really no way I can be pregnant? I took a pregnancy test today and it said I'm not but I'm not sure if its right or not because this happened monday and they say it takes like a week?

Your pregnancy test won't be accurate until your next period is late or even 3-5 days before but nothing sooner than that. Unfortunately, that's how long it takes for the HCG hormone to be detected in your urine. But, like I said, you should be okay-- just wait till your period comes and try not to stress out about it too much because stress is known to cause late or missed periods.

All the best,

Rosa

Hi Anon,

We get a lot of questions similar to yours, the truth is that there is something called pre-ejaculate or pre-cum that can occur and may in fact have sperm in it-- making it SLIGHTLY possible for there to be a chance of pregnancy. With that being said, it is very difficult for this to happen with no penetration-- the "precum" would have to have sperm in it, the sperm would have to be very strong to find their way into your vagina, and you would have to be ovulating to get pregnant. So the odds are for you, not against you. Usually, chances of pregnancy are much higher when two people have had unprotected sex involving penetration and ejaculation. So, waiting for your period to arrive is the best thing.

Good Luck-- Here's some reading for you:
