I had unprotected sex on 2nd of January and 4 days later I got my period, a normal 7 day one. However, I still worry that I may be pregnant because some women report still having period when they're are pregnant! I took a HPT test which was negative on 6th Feb. however, I am having cramps for 5 days now and also back pain but no period. Can i be pregnant ir am i just so stessed that my body create symptoms?

Okay, so I've been with my boyfriend a little over a year, in November we had sexual intercourse, he pulled out... It was the day before my period, which was normal that month, in December I got it again , was still normal (I've gotten it towards the end of the month, 27th-28th into the next month) but I am 15 so it's normal to be irregular.. I didn't get it in January and still havent .. I took a pregnancy test the 5th and it was negative. I haven't had any actual early signs, I've been very parinoid so at some points I think I have (like I think I gained weight. I'm about 135-145 and I've weighed myself and its stayed in that range, or I thought I've had to use the restroom more often, but I'm pretty sure I'm just paranoid).. I know I'm too young to be a mother right now, I have one more test but I'm not sure when our if I should take it.. I've had two periods since and I know the cum didn't get 'inside inside' because it was on the sheets.. Since then we've used protection, but I'm not on the pill. Is there a chance of being pregnant? My period is almost two weeks late, but considering we did this about three months ago I would think I would start having early signs or something by now, but I haven't.. I currently don't have a doctor either, please help... :/

Hello,

Once again, there are many reasons why your period can be late or irregular. Having a regular period is only important when trying to get pregnant.  It is not unhealthy or dangerous to have later, missed or irregular periods in your teen years.

If you do want to have a regular period however, the number one solution that doctors offer is the birth control pill.  Planned Parenthood will be the best place for you to go since you do not have a regular doctor.  You can talk to them about all your concerns as well.

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.

It is true that women can experience bleeding while pregnant but it is lighter bleeding and does not last a full 7 days.

Given that you have a full, regular period and the test was negative as well, you can be certain you are not pregnant.  Your period is mostly like due to stress as you mentioned or perhaps a slight hormonal imbalance but not pregnancy.  You period will return to normal soon.  No need to worry.
