Can i get pregnant

Tried sex wth my bf.when he tried 2 insert it hurt so i pushed him off but the tip of his thing had blood which i understand meant my hymen was broken.there was no penetration.i have bn reading stuff here about gettin pregnant if sperm gets into vaginal canal.is the vaginal canal before or after the hymen and can ths make me pregnant

Pippy,

Thanks for posting. The vaginal canal is the entire area from when the penis enters until the tip of the cervix. If your boyfriend tore your hymen and didn't go any further than that-- then the odds are that you are not pregnant. However, I do not want you to think that it is safe to engage in inserting only the tip of the penis, because the tip is all that is needed in order to get you pregnant. Please be careful and if you are going to engage in sex, practice safe sex only.
